Mr. Anukool Bhatnagar, has more than 33 years of working experience in Banking sector. He started his career from State Bank of India as a probationary Officer in October 1985 and has gained working experience in different sectors such as Banking Operations, Administration, Credit, Human Resource Management, International Banking and NRI Business. Prior to joining Nepal SBI Bank, he was overseeing Banking and Operations in the capacity of Zonal Manager at SBI’s Administrative Office, Indore, India. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers and an ACAMS. Currently, he is the Managing Director and CEO of Nepal SBI Bank Limited and a Director of Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited (NSMBL). Currently, he is the Vice President of Nepal Bankers’ Association. He is also the Executive Member of Nepal India Chamber of Commerce (NICCI) and currently heads its committee on Banking and Insurance. He has keen interest in travelling, culture, learning and sports.
Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He started his banking career in 1986 from Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (erstwhile Nepal Grindlays Bank Limited) where he achieved extensive experience in commercial banking of international standards in the span of over 17 years. In later part of his tenure there, he was holding the senior most position (Head of Credit or Country Credit Manager) in making credit decisions for the bank. He later worked as Chief Lending Officer and as Head Bank Administration in Nepal Bank Limited, partly government owned bank which is also the first bank in Nepal, as a team member of the management team employed by Bank of Scotland ICC Consulting (known as ICCMT) for the purpose of restructuring the Bank under Financial Sector Reform Project funded by World
Bank and DFID.
This was followed by his tenure as General Manager in Citizens Bank International Limited and as Chief Executive Officer in Bank of Asia Nepal Limited and Grand Bank Nepal Limited. He has currently been leading Janata Bank Nepal Limited as a CEO for more than a year.
With his extensive experience of more than 30 years in multinational bank, government owned bank and private sector banks in Nepalese banking sector, he has also extended consultancy services to several national and international entities, namely World Bank, DFID, Central Renewable Energy Fund (CREF) under Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), UNDP funded Renewable Energy for Rural Livelihood
(RERL) Programme under AEPC, Adam Smith International etc.
