25 April, 2017 – Nepal Bankers’ Association, in coordination with Quantum Data Engines, hosted a program on “AML Compliance: Key elements in selecting a comprehensive AML system” where NBA had invited concerned officials from its member banks to the program.
During the program, Mr. Anil K. Shah, President NBA mentioned that having an effective AML system in the banking industry has become a must and banks must make investment in technology to ensure that their own system is secure. He requested the participants to actively participate in the program with an open mind and use this as an opportunity to raise any questions related to the subject matter.
Mr. Jonathan Sanam from QDE discussed about “Key elements in selecting a comprehensive AML system for first time compliance requirements” and the program followed with a presentation on “Showcasing key features of an AML system”.
