Kathmandu: NBA in coordination with TIMES Research & Training Institute organized a half day seminar on “NFRS based financial statements: Format and Practical Issues” with the aim to provide ease on implementation of NFRS and to understand the implementation modality of NFRS as required by NRB. Some major highlights of the seminar was –
- NFRS Implementation Modality
- Financial statements format of NFRS by preparer of the NRB format
- Explanation of Regulatory Adjustments required by the format and its objective
- Panel discussion on implementation complexities and tax issues in presence of high level officials of NRB, ICAN, IRD, LTO and NBA.
During the seminar CA Jagadish Kumar, Assistant Director, NRB, presented on “NFRS based financial discussion”. It was followed by a panel discussion where Mr. Anukool Bhatnagar, Vice President, Nepal Bankers’ Association was one of the panel member where he expressed his thoughts on implementing NFRS and answered the queries raised by participants.
