On November 23, in coordination with IFC, Nepal Bankers’ Association organized a webinar on “Draft Amendment of Secured Transaction Act”.
The session provided essential knowledge into movable assets-based finance ecosystem, lenders concerns strengthening borrower protections, modern secured transaction lending and international practices, simplify registration rules and priority rules. The discussion also deliberated upon the amendment proposed in the STR Act.
There was a participation of Legal Heads and Credit Heads from member banks in the session.
